Thousands of local stakeholders are leading projects from the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) alongside their regional transportation partners. Provided with new opportunities to directly access federal transportation funding, local leaders are excited to share insights from the ground level on the progress of these projects taking off across the country. On May 15, local and regional leaders talked about turning IIJA’s investments into real-life projects that improve the lives of their residents and the country’s transportation network.
