Our research

This series explores how religion, trade, the arts, and cultural movements have shaped political progress and policymaking in the U.S.

Are American values reflected in policy areas such as redistricting, criminal justice, and trade? Have religion and the arts contributed to political progress in the U.S.? Analyses in this theme explore these questions to inform work with the goal of eradicating discrimination, building community, and making our democracy healthier and more inclusive.
