A conversation with John McArthur, director of the new Center for Sustainable Development at Brookings, whose mission is to pursue research and insights to advance global sustainable development and to implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals across all countries. McArthur talks about the goals of the new center, why sustainable development remains so critical in these times, and why he’s passionate about the work.
