Alicia Marguerie is an economist in the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice of The World Bank Group. She works on issues related to employment and labor markets (including online job portals), education-to-work transition, as well as social assistance. She holds a doctorate from CREST – ENSAE Paristech and Ecole Polytechnique in France and was a visiting PhD student at Chicago University, prior to joining the World Bank in 2018. Her research focuses on labor markets and poverty, and the evaluation of public policies.
