The Challenges for Health Reform

At a recent Congressional Health Care Caucus policy forum, Engelberg Center Director Mark McClellan discussed some of the unanswered questions and challenges facing health reform.

During his remarks, McClellan noted that there has been little public engagement on several key issues that need to be addressed, including major reforms within health insurance markets and employer-based insurance plans, the logistics of mandating insurance, and the need for fundamental changes to support better lifestyle choices.
