With elections approaching later this year and in 2024, voters in Taiwan will face a choice on Taiwan’s future. Their choices could have far-reaching implications for regional and global security and for America’s interests in Asia.

On June 6, the Brookings Institution and the Center for Strategic and International Studies co-hosted Kuomintang Chairman Eric Chu for keynote remarks on the Kuomintang Party’s vision for the future of Taiwan. Following Chairman Chu’s remarks, Brookings Senior Fellow Ryan Hass and CSIS Senior Fellow Bonny Lin joined Chairman Chu in conversation before opening up to the audience for questions.

Online viewers submitted questions via e-mail to [email protected] or via Twitter at #EricChu.
