Recent opinion polls show that public trust in the Hong Kong Government, in the central government in Beijing, as well as in the future of China, is at the highest level since the handover in 1997, yet there is no movement towards democracy. Now that the Hong Kong economy has rebounded, are its citizens happy, even without democracy?
