On September 28, Foreign Policy at Brookings hosted President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović of Croatia for an Alan and Jane Batkin International Leaders Forum. A member of the European Union and NATO, Croatia is committed to strong European cooperation and trans-Atlantic resilience. President Grabar-Kitarović, elected in 2015 as the first female president of Croatia, touched upon the country’s relations with the United States, its role in South East and Central Europe, and its contributions to the Three Seas Initiative.

Brookings President John Allen joined President Grabar-Kitarović on stage for a conversation on these themes. Questions from the audience followed the discussion.
