With the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, the push for West Bank annexation by members of the Israeli government, and the move by many in the international community to recognize Palestinian statehood, recent events have brought important questions regarding the future of Palestinian politics to a head.
On Thursday, October 30, the Foreign Policy program at Brookings will host Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa for an analytical discussion of how the PA can navigate the political landscape in Israel-Palestine. Vivian Salama, staff writer at The Atlantic, will moderate.
Salama will then be joined by Brookings experts Hady Amr, nonresident senior fellow in the Center for Middle East Policy, and Jeffrey Feltman, John C. Whitehead visiting fellow in international diplomacy in the Strobe Talbott Center for Security, Strategy, and Technology, for a discussion of the questions raised by this moment in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Online viewers can submit questions via e-mail to [email protected] or via X (formerly Twitter) @BrookingsFP using #PalestinianPolitics.
