The Brookings Foreign Policy program is recruiting up to two post-doctoral research fellows to join its team of resident scholars for the 2018-2019 academic year. More information about the fellowship, responsibilities, and stipend is available here, and the deadline to apply is January 8. The deadline for letters of recommendation is January 22.
Below, watch current post-doctoral fellows Katy Collin and Torrey Taussig, and former post-doc (now fellow in the Center for Middle East Studies) Chris Meserole discuss their experiences in the Foreign Policy program. They describe the unique opportunities they’ve been afforded in the role, explain how working at Brookings differs from a university context, offer advice for crafting a successful application, and more. Fellow in the Project on International Order and Strategy Tarun Chhabra moderates the conversation.
