Torrey Taussig was a nonresident fellow at the Center for the United States at Europe at Brookings. She was also the research director of the Project of Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship at Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center. Her research focuses on trans-Atlantic policy toward Russia and China and global democracy issues. Taussig was previously a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow based in Berlin, Germany and a pre and post-doctoral fellow at Brookings and Harvard Kennedy School. She holds a master's and doctorate from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a bachelor's in political science and economics from Williams College. She is currently serving in the Biden administration as an advisor in the Office of Europe and NATO Policy at the Department of Defense.
