Since 2000, the Brown Center Report on American Education has offered in-depth, data-driven analysis of pressing topics and trends in American education. The recently-released 2014 report investigates three critical issues that have universal ramifications for students and parents in American schools: the homework burden, the Common Core State Standards, and the PISA-Shanghai Controversy.
