U.S. Relations with Israel and Middle East Policy

Listen to the Full Discussion

ANDREA SEABROOK, GUEST HOST:

As violence continued to rage in Baghdad and around Iraq, President Bush met with Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert here in Washington yesterday. The two leaders have a lot to talk about: Iraq spiraling out of control, Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and last summer’s war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Joining me here in studio to tackle these questions:

David Makovsky, at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy; Shibley Telhami, professor at the University of Maryland and nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution; and Anthony Shadid, reporter for the Washington Post.

Good morning, gentleman.
