Kerry Searle Grannis is the Managing Director for the Economic Studies program at Brookings. As part of the ES leadership team, she directs staff engagement and staff development efforts, and provides management support across the program. She also manages operations of the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy and the Center on Regulation and Markets, directing outreach, communications, and development strategies, and managing budgets and staff for both centers.
Kerry has previously served at Brookings as the associate director of the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy, and as the project manager for the Social Genome Project at Center on Children and Families. Prior to her work at Brookings, she taught literature and composition at The George Washington University and Northern Virginia Community College. She holds a Ph.D. in American Literature and serves as the executive director of the Falls Church Homeless Shelter.
