David L. Goldwyn was a nonresident senior fellow in the Energy Security and Climate Initiative at Brookings and is president of Goldwyn Global Strategies, LLC, an international energy advisory consultancy. He served as the U.S. State Department’s special envoy and coordinator for international energy affairs from 2009 to 2011, reporting directly to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
