On Tuesday, September 8the Brookings Center on Regulation and Markets presented and discussed new research on regulation and accountability in higher education. Forthcoming papers will provide new evidence on topics ranging from predicting college closures, measuring outcomes of GI Bill beneficiaries, assessing the success of post-secondary programs, and helping students make better choices. The discussion examined how to use this evidence to protect the financial aid investments taxpayers make and how to improve the outcomes of students.
