At a recent Brookings event on the turmoil in Egypt and the changing Middle East, Kenneth Pollack says that even after the dust settles, Egypt’s future and leadership are unclear. He says that Mohammad ElBaradei could very well be Egypt’s next leader, but the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist parties will also vie for positions in the new Egyptian government.
