232 million	International migrants worldwide. Of this number, 19.8 percent live in the United States.
13%	Percentage of the U.S. population made up of immigrants. The immigrant population in the U.S. has nearly doubled since 1990, rising to about 40 million.
79%	U.S. foreign born population between 20 and 64 years old. Only 57 percent of the native born population in the U.S. falls within this age range.
11 million	Approximate number of immigrants from Mexico. In 2012, 1,967,998 immigrants, or 5 percent of the total immigrant population, originated from India.
16.4%	Share of foreign born population within the civilian employed population. One-in-four children have at least one foreign-born parent.
