Sadako Ogata
Sadako Ogata, former president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and United Nations high commissioner for refugees, was a distinguished fellow with the Brookings Institution, under the Foreign Policy and Global Economy and Development programs. Ogata passed away in October 2019.
