Roy Parizat leads the World Bank’s BioCarbon Fund Initiative for Sustainable Forest Landscapes. Previously, he served as Coordinator for the World Bank’s Agricultural Finance Team and its AgriFin initiative. An economist by training, Roy is highly experienced in working within and across international organizations, managing relationships with public sector agencies, and donor organizations. His areas of expertise include financial sector change management, risk management, and commercial lending with a focus on agricultural and commodity sectors.
