Jonathan Lain

Economist, Poverty and Equity Global Practice – World Bank

Jonathan Lain is an Economist in the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Global Practice, working in the Western and Central Africa. Prior to this, Jonathan worked in the Employment, Labour, and Social Affairs Directorate at the OECD, in the World Bank’s poverty team in Indonesia, and in the impact evaluation team at Oxfam. Jonathan completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Oxford in 2015. He holds a MSc in Economics for Development (2011) and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (2010), also from Oxford.
