John P. Banks
John P. Banks was a nonresident senior fellow in the Energy Security and Climate Initiative at Brookings. He has worked as a management consultant for over 25 years, advising governments, companies, and regulators throughout the world on energy policy, security, and governance issues. His focus has been on establishing policies, institutions, and regulatory frameworks that promote sustainable energy sectors in emerging markets. He has worked in over 20 countries. Banks is also a visiting scholar and adjunct professor for electricity markets at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
