Joanne Kim - Research
Joanne Kim is a senior research assistant in Brookings Metro. Kim conducts research on economic geography, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and community development. Prior to joining Brookings Metro, she interned with the Income and Poverty Trends team at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Kim also worked at the World Bank as a research assistant advancing the sharing of best green growth practices. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Berkeley and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
