Earlier today, the Brookings Brown Center on Education Policy hosted a live video chat to discuss the findings of its new report on American education. The conversation featured Brookings expert Tom Loveless and was moderated by Ben Widavsky of the Rockefeller Institute of Government, State University of New York. Ben and Tom talked about the various conclusions of the report, and took questions from the online audience on homework in America, PISA, and Common Core, among other things.
