Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is spiraling out of control and may have already taken the region to the point of no return and toward full-scale war. Is there any hope for at least a cease fire?

Shibley Telhami of the Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland, College Park, and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution is an expert on international relations and ethnic conflict. In addition, he is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the advisory committee of Human Rights Watch/Middle East.
