Bill Dickens was a nonresident senior fellow in Economic Studies until 2015. His research centered around the malleability of cognitive ability; fiscal effects of investment in early education; the relationship of inflation, wage and unemployment; and economic development.
We've been in a very, very slow recovery now since 2009 and what we've been seeing is a very, very slow decline in the unemployment rate... increases in employment that barely keep up with the growth of the population.
