The Minnesota Senate recently voted to legalize same-sex marriage as Americans' views of gay citizens continue to shift. In light of these events, Jonathan Rauch makes the conservative case for gay marriage in order to demonstrate that it is part and parcel of a re-commitment to family values, not a flight from them.
