Opportunities to Contribute

The task force seeks input from a wide variety of stakeholders through a global consultation process conducted both online and in person. Interested stakeholders are invited to contribute by:

  • Organizing a consultation. The final consultation period for Phase III on Implementation has begun. Feedback will be accepted through 15 June 2013. Please visit the Global Consultations page to access the consultation documents and learn more.
  • Participating in a working group. Working group members were recruited through an open application process and were selected based on their experience developing, implementing, and/or measuring progress toward learning standards. The third and final technical working group on implementation is comprised of more than 125 individuals in 40 countries.
  • Circulating and providing feedback on draft discussion papers and proposals. We are grateful to everyone who submitted feedback on the discussion document, "Multi-Country Assessments of Learning." The final version of this document will be available online in mid-June. Two subsequent documents, “Issues in Global Learning Assessment,” and “National Assessments of Learning,” will be available for comment later this year.

Please contact LearningMetrics@brookings.edu to sign up for email updates, send feedback on background papers, or express interest in getting involved.
