A free virtual course coming fall 2026
The Center for Universal Education at Brookings is launching Foundations of Scaling for Impact in Education, a new online course that translates a decade of our research into a practical, interactive resource for scaling what works in education.
Free and self-paced, the eight-module course was developed for practitioners, funders, and researchers who are working to expand education innovations at scale.
Initially built through the Research on Scaling the Impact of Innovations in Education (ROSIE) project—part of the Global Partnership for Education’s (GPE) Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (itself a partnership between GPE and the International Development Research Centre)—the course has already been piloted with 100+ researchers and implementers across 40+ countries.
The launch in fall 2026 will mark its release as a global public good, available in English, French, and Spanish, with a fully offline option.
