For the last 17 years, Teresa Burnett has been the executive director of the Monahans Chamber of Commerce in Texas. She has dedicated much of her time to community service by serving on a number of organizations such as the Ward County Community Endowment, Monahans Educational Partnership, the Ward County Historical Committee, the Monahans Campus Advisory Committee, and many others. Burnett is the recipient of numerous awards including the Monahans Citizen of the Year Award, Connected Nation’s “Broadband Hero Award”, and Monahans Merit Award, among others. Prior to her service work, Burnett taught kindergarten for 17 years.
