Rebekka Grun has worked with the World Bank since 2005, currently as team leader in the Africa region and before that as adviser to the president. She led the Bank’s reengagement in the Middle East/North Africa after the Arab Spring and co-authored books about jobs in MENA and the World Development Report on gender. Before joining the Bank, Rebekka worked in the U.K. Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and consulting. A Cusanus Scholar, Rebekka holds a Ph.D. in economics from University College London and a lic.oec. from St. Gallen.
