Michael Oksenberg, who passed away in February 2001, was Senior Fellow at the Asia Pacific Research Center and Professor of Political Science at Stanford University. His research specialties included Chinese domestic affairs, China’s foreign policy, Sino-American relations, and East Asian political development.
