Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima leads the Ministry of education in Malawi across the Basic, Secondary, Tertiary education subsectors. She ensures the development and implementation of the Ministry’s overall strategic goals as espoused in the National Education Sector Plan. She previously served in the portfolio of Deputy Minister in the Ministries of Education and Agriculture. 

She is a Human Resource and Administration Practitioner with over 12 years of comprehensive experience. 

She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University, Fox School of Business & Management (USA).  

She is currently a Member of Parliament for Kasungu North East Constituency.
