Francis Fukuyama is the Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. He is the author of numerous well-known books, including America at the Crossroads: Democracy, Power, and the Neoconservative Legacy (Yale, 2007), and The End of History and the Last Man (Bree Press, 1992, second paperback edition in 2006). The latter title has appeared in over twenty foreign editions. Fukuyama is a member of the executive committee and editorial board chairman of The American Interest.
