Former Brookings Expert

Colette D. Honorable was a nonresident senior fellow of the Cross-Brookings Initiative on Energy and Climate. She is a partner in the global Energy and Natural Resources Group of Reed Smith, LLP, resident in the Washington, DC office. Colette is a former commissioner at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, former president of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and former chairman of the Arkansas Public Service Commission. She is experienced in domestic and international energy sectors on regulatory issues such as ratemaking, infrastructure development, renewables integration, technological advancements in energy, and reliability/resilience issues. Honorable has significant international energy regulatory experience as well, working with regulators around the globe.
