Anna-Maria Tammi is Senior Thematic Lead for Equity and Inclusion at GPE. Over the past years she led the design of GPE’s operational policies and financing mechanisms for fragile and conflict affected contexts and supported partner countries with education continuity in crisis situations, including during COVID-19. She also worked on questions of refugee inclusion, resilience and climate change through building the evidence base and supporting various GPE initiatives on these topics.
Anna-Maria previously worked for the European Commission, World Bank, and Doctors Without Borders. She holds a Master of Science in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics.
