On February 6, the Project on International Order and Strategy hosted U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice for the launch of President Obama’s National Security Strategy, which outlines the president’s foreign policy vision and priorities for the American people and Congress.—and communicates America’s priorities to its allies around the world.
Following on the previous National Security Strategy released during President Obama’s first term, this strategy is an opportunity for the president and his administration to further define America’s foreign policy agenda and vision for U.S. global leadership for the years ahead.
