On July 31, the Economic Studies and Foreign Policy programs at Brookings hosted a discussion on the future of Ukraine’s economy, featuring an address from United States Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker on her team’s work since her appointment to this position and their plans moving forward.
Following her remarks, a panel reacted to the plan Pritzker outlined and discussed the future of Ukraine and the importance of the country’s reconstruction and economic vitality. Ben Harris, vice president and director for Economic Studies at Brookings, moderated the conversation between Pritzker, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova, and Constanze Stelzenmüller, director of the Center on the United States and Europe and senior fellow in Foreign Policy at Brookings.
