On February 28, the Brookings Institution, in partnership with ABC News, launched Opportunity 08, a project to help presidential candidates and the public focus on critical issues facing the nation.

Voters say they want to hear more from candidates about the issues and less about partisan politics. On February 28, the Brookings Institution, in partnership with ABC News, launched Opportunity 08, a new project to help presidential candidates and the public focus on critical issues facing the nation. The  Opportunity 08 project provides ideas and information on a broad range of topics facing America’s next president. It also focuses on America’s most pressing policy challenges.
