In December the Managing Global Insecurity (MGI) project convened its third Advisory Group Meeting, and first international session, at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.
The meeting, which included International Advisory Group members as well as Asia regional experts, focused on an effective multilateral response on the topics of nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, energy security and global climate change. Participants also discussed Asian regional security institutions. While in Asia, MGI project directors also held consultations in Tokyo and Delhi with government officials and representatives from non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and the private sector.
