On September 7, the Center for Universal Education at Brookings will co-host a full-day conference celebrating International Literacy Day with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Global Partnership for Education. Brookings will convene a panel on the importance of including education, particularly learning and literacy, as central components of the post-2015 international development goals.
