Content from the Brookings Institution India Center is now archived. After seven years of an impactful partnership, as of September 11, 2020, Brookings India is now the Centre for Social and Economic Progress, an independent public policy institution based in India.
A discussion with General John R. Allen, President of the Brookings Institution and former commander of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan and Strobe Talbott, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of State and former President of the Brookings Institution (2002-2017). The discussion focuses on recent developments in Europe, West Asia, the United States, and Indo-Pacific, and ways to strengthen the international order.
