Zara Shubber, MBBS MSc, is a Senior Health Specialist at the World Bank’s Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice where her work focuses on primary health care transformation, non-communicable diseases and health system resilience. She has been supporting the Saudi health portfolio for the last two years, providing advisory and analytic support on non-communicable diseases, environmental health and monitoring and evaluation. Zara is a physician and epidemiologist by background and has published almost 40 peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of health.
