Stephen Elkins

Stephen Elkins has been the city of Austin CIO since 2009, which during that time he incorporated an IT governance process. Prior to joining the city, Stephen worked in the private sector in the semiconductor industry for 17 years. The city has won numerous IT awards under his leadership, most recently Stephen was named by Government Technology “Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, & Driver for 2015”. He has an engineering degree as well as a MBA.
