Gary Samore
Gary Samore was a nonresident senior fellow in the Arms Control Initiative with the Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence. He is also the executive director for research at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Kennedy School of Government. Samore served as President Obama’s special assistant to the president and White House coordinator for weapons of mass destruction nonproliferation and counterterrorism. He is an expert on nuclear weapons, arms control and nonproliferation as well as nuclear security and energy.
