Christian Hänel is Senior Vice President, International Relations America and Asia at the Robert Bosch Stiftung. He has worked in various topic areas, among them (global) governance, civil society, public policy, European Integration, media, education and cultural exchange. Prior positions include responsibility for the programs in and with the European Union, Turkey and North Africa. Before he joined the Robert Bosch Stiftung, he worked in sales for a German media distribution company.
Christian Hänel loves sports, movies and composing electronic music in his free time. He holds an M.A. in history and economics and studied at University Bielefeld, Germany, and at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Md., USA.
