In this presentation at the second national summit on equitable development, social justice and smart growth, Mr. Katz discussed the profound demographic and market changes taking place in the United States. He explained how these forces are giving cities and first suburbs the best chance to compete in decades. He also cautioned that the resurgence of U.S. urban places is incomplete and presents challenges for social and economic justice.
