Political Unrest Brings a New Arab World

The political unrest in the Arab world has been fueled by repressive governments and failing economic, social and political systems. The repercussions from these revolutions will force new actions and policies across a broad spectrum of players, from the United States to al Qaeda. Shibley Telhami says it is a new day in the Arab world as the fight for dignity and self-determination continues to spread. Change is coming; in some places it will happen quickly, in others it will evolve over time, he says.
