States have expanded Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act

Fifteen have a Democratic governor, 5 a Republican one. Of the 15 states that are not expanding Medicaid under ACA, 14 have Republican governors. Fifteen other states are leaning either toward or against expansion, or consulate considering alternative models.
