Al Qaeda’s Renewed Strength

The discussion centers itself on the upcoming National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) concerning al Qaeda’s resurgence and what has become an increased risk of a new attack on U.S. soil. The NIE is expected to detail new threats from al Qaeda that are due in large part to a safe haven in Pakistan, persistence in Iraq and continued growth in other regions of the world.
